Rec 2 Rec Project
Due to inclement weather and the youth workers not being very hardy we are now back at the URC for the summer. If we have any hot evenings the young people will get to decide whether we will all walk to the Rec from the Church.
Times remain the same as the Rec 2 Rec Project 6.30 till 8.30pm.

We are Duxford Massive Youth Club
Some of the young people of Duxford noticed a need for somewhere safe and secure where they could go to have some fun and relax, with the help of Duxford Parish Council Youth Committee, some local volunteers and the Cambridgeshire County Council Sawston / Linton and Cottenham locality Office they started to plan the youth club, they applied for a Youth Bank Award which they were awarded and received money to purchase equipment for inside the new club which includes -
- Table Tennis Table
- Pool Table
- Stereo
- Laptops
- Arts & crafts supplies
- TV
- XBox 360
- A residential trip
Thanks to the URC of Duxford for offering their building and we now feel the young people have settled in and made it their home.
The club started in November 2009 and we think the young people have achieved a tremendous amount in the last eight months.
From September 2009 the club will have 3 trained members of staff and one volunteer
